Curtin makes a number of awards and grants available to staff for recognition and promotion of excellence in teaching and learning. These play an important role in supporting innovation in teaching practice, as well as rewarding best practice. A range of awards are available from:

• Faculties;
• the University;
• the Student Guild; and
• the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC).

Curtin has a tradition of recognising its excellent teachers and this is reflected in our success at national level in the ALTC Awards.
